MC (formally Meredith Connell) is New Zealand’s most experienced and successful litigation law firm, along with holding the Crown Warrant, they attract the brightest talent across New Zealand.

MC stand-up for people and the injustices they encounter. The brand was inspired by people who protest and make a firm stance - they resonated with the signs proudly held aloft - from the serious to the humorous, they became the tone of the brand.

MC look and act differently from other law firms, with ‘Credible Audacity’ underlying how they communicate. A duality, where the brand can speak and present itself either from a credibility standpoint, or taking an audacious approach - saying things other law firms cannot. Why, because they’re MC.

This duality embedded itself within the logo, colours, fonts and their new office. An ‘audacious terrarium’, greets visitors in reception and client meeting rooms - surrounded by a forest of native NZ flora and fauna. Whereas in the central area of the office, proudly displays ‘The Treaty of Waitangi’.
